Scotch is practically a second language for our Founder, Bryan Brown. It was back in the mid-2000s, during his heady twenties, when the Toronto native first unearthed his love for Scotland’s finest export, Scotch whisky. After trying a handful of recommended Scotches, Brown soon learned there wasn't a single cask of the stuff he'd turn down. Before he knew it, the man had set out to champion his new love.

Fast forward to 2020, when our Scotch enthusiast started sharing his self taught education with the world in the eye of that pandemic’s storm, Brown got busy and threw on Scotch tastings for his friends, applying a wealth of know-how he’d learned from 15-plus years of professional event coordination. Bent on wresting scotch from the stranglehold of stuffiness, Brown's Scotch nights took off, and before long, his friends told their friends. You know how the rest goes.

Today, we’re proud to say Neat Scotch House serves the curiosities and passions of spirit appreciators across all of Ontario (not that we don’t plan to go bigger). And together with his partner, Teena Duong, Brown’s finally found a way to put his passion to work .
